This isn't some base model El Camino changed into something it's not, from the factory it was optioned with the 396 big block, 4 speed manual, positraction rear, bucket seats and the twin bulge hood. The modifications present are meant to enhance the character and soul of this original car, without resto-modding it into something completely different, a difficult balance to find but I think they've nailed it! Everything you want in a classic muscle car, without loosing it's way.
496 Big block, new cam, lifters, valve springs, valve stems, push rods, rear seals, machine pistons with new big end shell bearings. New custom twin exhaust (flowmasters), twin electronic cut outs with custom headers. Custom oil pan, new leads, spark plugs. New FI-Tech fuel injection system, new fuel lines, new fuel pump, new alternator, new power steering, new pulleys with custom brackets. New extra large radiator, digital thermal radiator temp unit, new 71 degree thermostat, new electric vacuum pump for brakes. New transmission seals, new driveshaft U-joints, new driveshaft, new custom driveshaft loop, new copper-nickel brake lines, new Wilwood 4-pot callipers. New digital dash, dash lines and speedo pick-up. New battery and wiring, new rear tail light bezels, rear bumper re-chromed, new door panels, new exterior badges, new wheel spinners, new seat belts. Custom made extra large fuel tank and sender unit, new custom badge, new window wipers, new engine hoses, air hoses and brake hoses and extra heavy duty clutch. Completed a new cert in 2023 with many many more modifications and replaced parts to list.
