This genuine 1973 Kingswood is a factory 253 V8, Pagewood built sedan, now running a freshly rebuilt 308, with approximately 3,000km since completion. The original matching numbers 253 engine is retained and included.
The 308 has been comprehensively rebuilt within the last year. Acid dipped and honed block, 30 over, cam and lifters to suit, all new bearings, polished crank, machined heads with new valves. Finished with brand new 308 rocker covers, Edelbrock inlet manifold, Edelbrock 650 carb and AN fuel lines.
Supporting components are all new including double row timing chain, high flow oil pump, starter motor, radiator fan, thermostat and housing, plus a period correct 3 core radiator.
Driveline is classic Holden muscle. Holden Trimatic automatic transmission paired to a 10 bolt diff. Strong, simple and proven.
The body was fully restored approximately 30 years ago and still presents clean and straight. Will include the original wheels and hubs, retaining that proper period look. Fitted with a towbar and supplied with extra parts including Pacemaker headers.
Finished in Glacier White with Calypso Red interior, this is an honest, well sorted Australian V8 with the right mechanical investment already done.
