This is it the one and only Smokey and the Bandit car, the legend itself: a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am T-Top finished in black with the gold screaming chicken across the hood. The ultimate symbol of American muscle and 1970s cool.

The Story:
This Trans Am has been garage-kept for over 20 years, with registration on hold. Showing 75,000 original miles and equipped with the mighty Pontiac 6.6L V8, this is the perfect entry into Bandit ownership. It has already been through a mechanical pre-check inspection, and the list to get it back on the road is small making this a fantastic project car you could be cruising in by summer.

Highlights:

Legendary 1977 Smokey & The Bandit model

T-Top roof the most desirable configuration

Pontiac 6.6L V8 authentic power and presence
75,000 original miles

Garage-kept barn find with rego on hold

Perfect restoration or road-ready project with a short to-do list

Mechanical Pre-Check (Items Found):

Horn not working

Wipers worn

Heater not working (heater core bypassed, hoses not connected)

Electric windows not working

Drivers seat belt webbing torn

Right-hand door card not fitted correctly

Power steering belt needs tightening

Brake fluid in poor condition

Left-hand upper suspension arm bushes perished

Incorrect fuel cap fitted

Left rear wheel locks under braking

Coolant leak (left side of radiator tank)

Bolt missing from left-hand rear spring eye

Despite these small issues, the car is structurally solid, complete, and ready for the right owner to bring it back to glory. The bones are all here it just needs a little work to be road-worthy again.

This is not just a car its an American legend, the Bandits ride, and one of the most iconic movie muscle cars of all time. With values climbing and genuine Bandit-era cars becoming harder to find, this is a golden opportunity to grab one before they disappear.
