The Nissan Pulsar GTIR Nicknamed "Baby Godzilla " is a high performance 4WD Hatch that was developed in 1990 to homologate Nissan's entry into the WRC. Nissan motorsport took out 3rd Place in the 1992 World Rally Championship with the GTI-R.

These GTIR's were imported into New Zealand and modified extensively in the late 90's and early 2000's. It was common to see them driving through West Auckland suburbs with huge Intercoolers and 18" Wheels. These days there are none left at auction's in Japan and importing them can be a risk. Due to the rarity, the price tags of a genuine GTIR are increasing each year and becoming hard to find in original condition like this one.

This model is the last edition " series 2 " 1994 final year of production for the GTIR. The Series 2 came with grey Interior, Updated Momo Steering Wheel, vinyl roof lining, and a solid Red Rocker Cover. 1992 and above were non sunroof models.

Still intact is the Pulsar GTIR Wing and Body Kit, Included is the front tow hook cover in good condition. The Red Top Non VVTI SR20DET came factory with a Top-mount Intercooler with a Garret t25G Turbo. Producing around 205HP and weighing a total of 1220KG. The 4wd Attessa system is the same as used in the Nissan Skyline GTR as where the name "Baby Godzilla " came from

This car is in Exceptional condition for its age and is unmodified unlike most. The original wheels have good Continental Tyres. Its worth noting the exhaust is unmodified and engine is completely stock. The factory Nissan Oil temp / pressure / boost pressure gauges are still in working order.
