Luxury Grand Touring Convertible Azure

The Azure is a luxury convertible grand tourer from Bentley, first generation (19952003). Its essentially the opentop version of the Bentley Continental R.

The 2001 model represents a mature phase of the first generation, with very high levels of craftsmanship, opulent interior fittings, lots of wood, leather, chrome, real luxury appointments.

The 2001 Bentley Azure is powered by a 6.75-litre turbocharged V8 engine (OHV, 16-valve), producing approximately 400 horsepower (294kW) at 4,100 rpm and a massive 590 lb-ft of torque (800 Nm) at just 2,150 rpm. This immense torque makes for effortless cruising and powerful acceleration despite the cars size. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission, allowing the Azure to achieve 060 mph in around 6.2 to 6.8 seconds, depending on condition and configuration. With its rear-wheel-drive layout and smooth power delivery, the Azure blends traditional British luxury with muscular performance in a grand touring convertible format.

This car has the service history from its time in the UK. First ever service done at 35miles at Jack Barclay Bentley in London. Its first service in New Zealand was at Bentley Auckland at 18,507 miles. The car comes with the original handbook, service / maintenance booklets.
