This Corvette was purchased new in 2005 by a Kiwi buyer from Courtesy Chevrolet, Thousand Oaks, California. It was used in the U.S. for three months to comply with left-hand-drive import regulations, then imported and registered in New Zealand in early 2006.

It has been enthusiast owned throughout its life, including by a former President of the NZ Corvette Club. The current owner acquired the car in 2021, and it remains in excellent condition with low kilometres and a well-documented ownership history.
