Most Camaro SS models are muscle cars that like a straight line. The 1LE is the one Chevrolet built for corners: a 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8, a proper six-speed manual, and a chassis set up with lap times in mind. The result is a car that makes big-block noise and still turns in like it means it.

This one is finished in bright yellow with a satin black bonnet, black alloys and red brake calipers. It has the 1LE's aggressive front splitter and rear spoiler, so it looks fast standing still. The 1LE's track-tuned suspension and Brembo brakes back up the looks, and the manual gearbox keeps you in charge of a V8 that sounds better every time you shift up. Imported from the USA and NZ-registered since 2017, it's a rare sight in a country where most Camaros are still automatics.
