The GLA 45 is what happens when AMG takes a perfectly sensible compact SUV and gives it a hand-built 2.0-litre turbo four that makes more power per litre than almost anything on the road. Fold the rear seats and it swallows the weekend. Press the start button and it wakes the whole street.
