On paper, this is a 2019 BMW M5: a twin-turbo 4.4L V8, 460kW from the factory, M xDrive all-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto. In reality, it's been taken a long way past that, and every change has been done with intent.
The Power
The build began with a Stage 1 tune, then moved to Stage 2 at 593.5WHP. It's now running a custom tune by Eurolab that put down 657.2WHP. It's backed by Project Gamma primary and secondary catless downpipes, Turner Motorsport air intakes and a Valvetronic titanium exhaust, supplied with two Valvetronic remotes. A Mishimoto oil cooler keeps temperatures in check when the car is driven hard.
The tune also gives you a choice of character. In Comfort mode, the car is civilised, with no pops or bangs. Switch to Sport or Sport+ and the pops and bangs come in on deceleration, depending on revs. It's a daily that can turn into something else when you want it to.
The Look
The car has been blacked out. The rims have gone from silver to black and the brake calipers from blue to black. Yellow daytime running lights add contrast to the front, and a carbon fibre spoiler sits on the boot. The rear M5 emblem is wrapped in silver, and there's a silver front Competition badge. The badges at the rear, front, steering wheel and all four wheels are black and silver instead of the standard blue and white. The plate is personalised: 247BMW.
The car has had a full polish and three layers of ceramic coating, so the paint is glossy and protected.
The Details
The attention to detail runs inside as well. There are two keys, one of them a rechargeable LCD display key. The keys come with two leather and silver key covers, and there are four silver and black door lock covers, two BMW belt buckle covers and two BMW seat gap plugs for the driver and passenger seats. There's a performance fuel cap and a Filthy Dog M Sport rego pouch. The stock spoiler and stock DRLs are included in the boot, so the car can go back to standard if needed.
