Underneath the Cupra badge, the Leon VZ is running the same EA888 engine and driveline architecture found in the Audi RS3 and VW Golf R 245kW, all-wheel drive, and 333hp on tap in a wagon body that most people will walk straight past. That's rather the point.

This one's been bought new and set up properly, not just badge-swapped. A full protection package went on early: front window tint, Dura Seal ceramic coating, and a rugged rubber boot liner, so the paint and interior are exactly as sharp as the day it left the showroom.

From there it's had the full Maxton Street Pro body kit fitted front splitter, side splitters, rear side splitter, and rear diffuser giving it a proper widened, planted stance without tipping into anything try-hard. A Milltek sports exhaust replaces the stock system, sharpening the note without drama.

Behind the wheel, the VZ gives you genuine range to play with. Like Audi's Dynamic modes, Cupra lets you fully customise the drive suspension stiffness, steering weight, throttle response, and even the interior ambient lighting colours and effects all shift with the mode you pick, right up to a dedicated Cupra mode (and yes, a drift mode, for when the mood strikes).
