Widely regarded as one of the best Walkinshaw Tributes in New Zealand, this genuine factory V8 1987 Holden VL Commodore is an exceptionally high-quality build combining authentic Walkinshaw heritage, serious performance, and outstanding attention to detail throughout.

A major highlight of the build is the inclusion of genuine Walkinshaw components recovered from damaged Walkinshaw #355, including the genuine seats and door cards a rare addition that adds genuine authenticity and collector appeal to the car.

Power comes from a refreshed injected 304 V8 featuring head work with 9.5:1 compression, Crow camshaft, Haltech ECU, large throttle body, Rollmaster twin timing chain, Pro Street balancer, and Vortex ceramic coated headers feeding into a beautifully sorted 2.5-inch exhaust system.

Backing the engine is a rebuilt T5 manual gearbox with hydraulic slave conversion and steel lightened flywheel, while the driveline and suspension package has been carefully set up to create a car that handles exceptionally well without sacrificing road comfort.
