THE MUSTANG HERITAGE PAIR A 1964 LAUNCH-DAY CAR & THE 2014 50 YEARS LIMITED EDITION #11

A Remarkable Duo That Celebrates Mustangs First 50 Years
Very rarely do two cars speak to each other across half a century one representing the very beginning of an American icon, the other built explicitly to honour that beginning. Together, these two Wimbledon-White Mustangs tell a complete story: the launch of a legend in 1964, and the official 50-year factory celebration in 2014. Individually, each car is special. Together, they are irreplaceable. Being offered as one pair, these Mustangs form a beautifully curated, historically aligned set that would be impossible to replicate. This is a collectors opportunity to secure a fully narrative-driven duo that bridges the past and present of the Mustang legacy in the purest, most authentic way.

THE 2014 MUSTANG 50 YEARS LIMITED EDITION MUZZ50 | Car #11 of Only 1,964 Built Fast-forward fifty years. To celebrate Mustangs golden anniversary, Ford announced a strictly limited, US-only run of 1,964 units all left-hand-drive, all specially built ahead of the new S550 launch. MUZZ50 is unit #11, one of the earliest and most desirable cars produced. Early build numbers were allocated exclusively to senior Ford executives and top military leadership. MUZZ50 was purchased by a New Zealander who then held a senior global role as president of Changan Ford's very large joint-venture manufacturing and sales company spearheading Ford's growth in China, and he committed to the order early, securing one of the lowest-numbered 50th Year models. The 50 Years Limited Edition cars were packed with features that deliberately echoed the 1964 origins: Wimbledon White paint, just like the 64 Unique 50 Years badging and quarter-window treatment Special one-off alloy wheels with 65 cues Chrome Mustang grille emblem Two-tone Cashmere & Black leather interior 50 Years embroidery and trim details 5.0 Coyote V8 with 6-speed manual, Brembo brakes, GT Performance Pack MUZZ50 has travelled just 9,100 miles and comes with its complete, untouched 50 Years gift box including the original commemorative book (still sealed) and a personally addressed, signed letter from Ford Chairman Bill Ford.

THE 1964 MUSTANG 64MUZZ | A Genuine Early-Production Launch Car Born in late March 1964 and signed off on 6 April 1964, this car sits just 8,425 units after Mustang Job One - placing it firmly among the earliest publicly sold Mustangs ever produced. Sold new on Launch Weekend 17 April 1964 at Chas S. Winner Ford in New York, the car was delivered on 22 April to its first owner, Denise Monti of The Flying Agostinos, a well-known American stage and TV performing duo. Included with the car are remarkable period photographs featuring Denise and Frank alongside icons like Sammy Davis Jr., Muhammad Ali, Johnny Carson, and Ed Sullivan an incredible accompaniment to the provenance. Finished in Wimbledon White, the original Mustang launch colour, this original and never restored car represents the pure, untouched DNA of the Mustang story. A genuine 1964 launch car with a documented chain of ownership and rare personal history impossible to find, and even harder to replace.

WHY THEYRE BEING SOLD AS A PAIR Both cars share: The same colour Wimbledon White The same spirit the birth and the 50-year celebration The same owner a custodian who intentionally brought them together The same historical significance the first and the commemorative 50th The 1964 was the first chapter. The 2014 was the official golden-anniversary tribute. Together, they form a complete and seamless story of the Mustangs first 50 years a pairing of rarity, provenance, personal history, and factory-authentic celebration. Individually collectable, yes. But together, they tell the Mustang story in a way no single car ever could. For a collector, museum, or brand-aligned enthusiast, this is a centrepiece duo a matched pair that deserves to stay together and will almost certainly never come to market in this configuration and originality again.
